Supply chain

Linking ideas and execution

Our supply chain is central to delivering world-class projects that meet the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction. It plays a pivotal role as a conduit between project goals and execution, empowering stakeholders to work efficiently and collaborate to achieve outstanding results.

By seamlessly integrating local expertise, our supply chain strategy delivers value directly to the client while fostering strong, long-lasting relationships with UK-based partners. This approach ensures that all project elements, from planning through to delivery, benefit from the insights and skills of industry-leading experts, enhancing our commitment to sustainability and excellence.

Our supply chain is not only robust but also adaptable, able to reliably support the delivery of a range of projects.

Sustainable procurement

Sustainability is at the core of our procurement strategy and is a vital part in achieving our long-term success. At STRABAG UK, we work closely with our supply chain to ensure materials, services, and processes align with our Environment & Sustainability strategy and contribute to a low-carbon, resource-efficient future.

Our sustainable procurement approach:

  • Responsible sourcing - We prioritise suppliers who adhere to ethical labour practices, fair wages, and environmentally conscious production methods.
  • Sustainable materials - We incorporate low-carbon alternatives, circular economy principles, and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) in material selection.
  • Reducing environmental impact - Our procurement decisions consider lifecycle emissions, waste reduction, and efficient resource use.
  • Ethical compliance - We support the principles of the Modern Slavery Act and work to ensure our supply chain is free from forced labour, human trafficking, and exploitation. Read our Modern Slavery Statement here.
  • Collaboration for innovation - We engage with suppliers to develop and implement innovative solutions that enhance sustainability in construction.
  • Building relationships - We thrive on building and maintaining strong supplier relationships. By fostering trust and collaboration, we ensure mutual growth and sustainability.
