STRABAG has achieved financial close and has been awarded the contract to deliver the Haweswater Aqueduct Resilience Programme for United Utilities. 

STRABAG UK is delighted to announce it is undergoing an artificial ground freezing trial at Sizewell C.

STRABAG-Equitix consortium identified as the preferred bidder by United Utilities (UU) to deliver the Haweswater Aqueduct Resilience Programme (HARP), a concession project to upgrade 110 km water pipeline system in the North West of England, with STRABAG UK Limited will be responsible for the design and construction.

STRABAG UK have completed the 1.2km long exploratory tunnel for SSE Renewables on the banks of Loch Lochy using the drill and blast technique. The multi-disciplinary team of over 100 members of staff set up a fully operational tunnel construction site in a remote location 20 miles from Fort William, Scotland in December 2022. 

HS2 has completed a two-year project to rebuild a major road in west London – incorporating an improved section of the local highway into the high-speed rail scheme. The works were carried out by Skanska Costain STRABAG, the HS2 main works civil engineering contractor for the route area.
